#BecauseIHaveABlackSon

During these times it’s important to be gentle with yourself and to protect your energy.

We are all coping with these events differently and tensions are at an all-time high.

With that being said, you have to dig deep and figure out what part you can play in this movement.

Your fight won’t look like my fight and that’s okay.

Some are on the front lines protesting, some are being vocal on their channels, some are educating themselves on racism, some are engaging in conversation with black people learning about our firsthand experiences, some are losing loved ones because their eyes have been opened for the first time and they can no longer accept the ignorance of their family and friends ...

As long as you are doing something to help fight the cause and put a quit to racism, you are doing enough.

Figure out what you can do and make it happen.
